ROBINHOOD CHAIN · GUIDE

How to bridge, buy, and sell tokens on Robinhood Chain

Robinhood Chain is Robinhood's own Ethereum layer-2 — an EVM network built on Arbitrum technology where gas is paid in ETH, and whose chain ID, 4663, spells HOOD on a phone keypad. If you're holding ETH on Ethereum mainnet and want to trade the tokens launching on it, you need to do two things: move ETH across to Robinhood Chain, then swap it for the token you want. This guide walks the whole path start to finish — adding the network to your wallet, bridging ETH over safely, and buying, swapping, and selling tokens without leaving HoodTracker. No prior layer-2 experience required.

Add Robinhood Chain to your wallet

If you use the Robinhood Wallet, the network is already built in — skip to step 2. For MetaMask, Rabby, or any other EVM wallet, use the Add Robinhood Chain button above, or add it by hand with the network details in the card above. You only have to do this once.

After adding it, switch your wallet's active network to Robinhood Chain. Your address stays exactly the same as on Ethereum.

2

Bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain

Robinhood Chain uses ETH for gas and trading, so you need ETH on the chain itself. Bring it over from Ethereum mainnet with a bridge that supports Robinhood Chain:

  • Robinhood Wallet — supports Robinhood Chain natively, the simplest route if you already use it.
  • Relay / Across — fast intent-based bridges that work with any EVM wallet.
  • Arbitrum canonical bridge — the underlying bridge for the chain's Arbitrum tech.

Safety: always start with a small test bridge, confirm the ETH lands on Robinhood Chain (check your balance in the explorer), then bring over the rest. Only ever bridge through a project's official site.

3

Buy & swap tokens — right here on HoodTracker

Once your ETH is on Robinhood Chain you can trade without leaving the site. Open the HoodTracker Trade page, pick a token from the list or paste any contract address, enter how much ETH you want to spend, and confirm the swap in your wallet.

Swaps route through Uniswap V3 on Robinhood Chain using native ETH — no wrapping, no separate DEX tab. Not sure what to trade? Browse what's moving on the leaderboard first.

4

Sell tokens back to ETH

Selling is the same flow in reverse. On the Trade page, select the token you hold, choose the amount to sell, and confirm — you get native ETH back on Robinhood Chain. From there you can trade into another token or bridge the ETH back out whenever you want.

Keep a little ETH spare for gas so you can always sell; every transaction on Robinhood Chain costs a small amount of ETH.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Robinhood Chain ID and RPC?

Robinhood Chain has chain ID 4663 (0x1237 in hex), which spells HOOD on a phone keypad. The public RPC is https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com and the block explorer is https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com. Gas is paid in ETH.

How do I bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain?

Move ETH from Ethereum mainnet using a bridge that supports Robinhood Chain — the Robinhood Wallet supports it natively, and third-party bridges like Relay and the Arbitrum canonical bridge work with any EVM wallet. Send a small test amount first, then bridge the rest. Deposits usually arrive within a few minutes.

How do I buy tokens on Robinhood Chain?

Once your ETH is on Robinhood Chain, open the HoodTracker Trade page, pick a token or paste its contract address, enter an ETH amount, and confirm. The swap routes through Uniswap V3 on Robinhood Chain and you pay gas in ETH.

Do I need a special wallet?

No. Robinhood Chain is EVM-compatible, so MetaMask, Rabby, and the Robinhood Wallet all work. You only need to add the network details once (or use the one-click button on this page).

What token do I use for gas on Robinhood Chain?

ETH. Robinhood Chain uses native ETH for gas, so keep a little ETH in your wallet to cover transaction fees when you trade.

Is it safe to trade new tokens on Robinhood Chain?

Trading any new token carries risk. Always verify the contract address from an official source, start with a small test buy, and be aware that low-liquidity tokens can move sharply. Never approve or trade a token you can't verify.

Ready to trade on Robinhood Chain?

You've got the network added and ETH bridged — now put it to work. Swap into any Robinhood-chain token with native ETH.
